I have actually suffered from similar problems with anxiety and panic as well as social phobia (for me the most limiting) for my entire life, this puts me ahead of all of the other marketers who give alleged reviews while they have only read what the product says it will do. And we all know to well that many products do not do what they claim. Now enough with the disclaimer, let’s get into the meat of why I wrote this.

I remember reading the sales page for the Linden Method when I was literally at my worst. I watched all of the videos. I used to be very outgoing, but now was a total recluse because of the shaking my anxiety problems were causing me I didn’t allow myself out in public as much as I would’ve liked and when I was in public I often needed 6 drinks before I could stop shaking so that of course created other health problems. But Charles Linden’s website seemed to be the answer to all of my problems. But I am generally a paranoid person and didn’t want someone to have my credit card number.

The biggest secret that no one tells you about “Depression” and “Anxiety” is that they are a result of poor stress management.

Here is how it works:

Bad Event (Job Loss, Someone Embarasses You, Car Accident) à Natural Body Reaction (Stress) à Extended Over A Long Peroiod Of Time à Anxiety Always on High-Alert à Can’t manage life à Either Stop Or Abuse Substances/Food & keep going.

Linden stresses the Importance of stillness & relaxation. When was the last time you listened to your thoughts genuinely? No television, no radio but sat and listened to you own thoughts again? I bet you can’t remember. I couldn’t because I was a drunk, addicted to cigarettes (among other things) & the Internet.

The things that helped me most personally were the diet recommendations, the exercises but most of all the breathing. Now I’m not some new age hippie but this worked better than anything else why? Because I could finally hear myself think and I knew what was bothering me.

About a year ago I bought Charles Linden’s “The Linden Method” he was offering a downloaded version for $97 and the full in person version for $137. I purchased the download version because I felt that I needed immediate help. It arrived instantly just as the company promised on the website. I looked at the download links in my inbox and downloaded the Linden Method.

Here’s the final deal I am better because I bought Charles Linden’s book and used some of the techniques that he describes in his method I identified with his story, but the most important thing that helped me is the actual action of buying his book meant that I was fighting back now and I was willing to go against the grain and try something that others may have considered odd. Take a pill is what they said. Well I was far beyond that point I had more pills in my system then I cared to admit. I have no problem recommending it to you as a fellow sufferer of anxiety because what it teaches works.

Using Drugs To Manage Your Life Perscribed Or Otherwise Is Short-Sighted

As someone who has taken drugs both recreactionally and been prescribed drugs I can tell you that drugs often work and are nessecary as a last resort. But using drugs to help you in the long term certainly won’t work.

You can buy this from any of the thousands of people promoting this product or you can buy it through my link. Either way Charles is paying someone a commission. What I can do is that if you agree to purchase through my link whenever you decide to do so I will give you an immediate one step action plan that you can implement while you are contemplating your purchase.

I’m also not a big buyer of informational products because I am generally skeptical. I think I can find the answers on my own. I did that for 10 years without any luck and while I was able to gradute college while still afflicted with the condition, I wasn’t really feeling anything at all.

It’s free to download, no e-mail address required and I’m simply asking on your honor that if you buy the system to remember what I did for you. Other affiliates cannot give this to you and it took.

Truthfully I’m less socially phobic than I was back then, but I’m not willing to broadcast all over the Internet my name and profile – I’m still just working on getting a Facebook profile. Also the stigma that is connected with mental illness vs. physical illness has it’s stereotypes. If you can’t believe what I’ve said then okay I can live with that. But if you do for your heath check out the Linden Method and start taking action and helping yourself today. Really, you don’t have to live like this.

It’s written by someone who has dealt with panic and phobia since as early as the 3rd grade and hadn’t found a real solution to the problem until recently. With my newly found sense of empowerment I decided to take on this project and reach out to others who are in need of help. The real problem with panic attacks and panic disorder is that the source is always different. What we want as sufferers is panic disorder treatment, but in order to have the right treatment we need to find exactly what type of panic disorder we are suffering from.

I’m a big advocate for self-help in moderation. The term self-help as it is coined is actually an oxymoron. If you are broken then how can you help yourself? In the end you spend hours, days and years researching your own condition on all different websites like web md or anything and typically you will end up with nothing. That’s because you can’t help yourself, you just think you can. It’s the nature of your condition, the nature of your own perception of your condition. Though there are many panic disorder treatments they fall into 3 basic categories:

Informational – I categorize this type of help as eBooks you purchase on the Internet, self-help books you buy at Barnes & Noble and tapes or relaxation CDs you may have heard about. This type of help is totally based off of you helping yourself. I believe that this only helps people who have just initially started feeling symptoms of panic disorder and are seeking treatment.

Group – This can be in the form of online forums at the very start, support groups that are local online social networking and more. As a social phobic this type of therapy was the least appealing to me because it involved facing my biggest fears while I was too sick to try.

Professional – This is the type of help involving therapists, psychiatrists, nutritionists and other health professionals who are certified to give you the proper information in their field of expertise. They can also prescribe medication for people who are in need of quick relief and who had let themselves go for far too long without and panic disorder treatment.

In the end you are always going to want to start by researching your condition and see if panic disorder is generally what you feel you are suffering from. Free sites can give you any of this information. Once you know what is going on, then seek out a book by a self-help guru online or off that will give you the tools and a plan to help yourself. Try the plan for exactly 2 weeks and measure your progress. If you find that you have made little or no progress it may signify that you need to move your panic disorder treatment strategy up to a group or professional level.

Don’t get too bogged down in the information search phase, as hard as it sounds move on and get on with your life. Other people need you and you need you too!

It’s estimated that there are over 3 million of us in the US alone. It’s even hit the mainstream where mob boss Tony Soprano had them and couldn’t explain why until he met with his therapist. I, the author of this blog have had them throughout my life and my family and 10 of millions of people worldwide suffer from what may seem like an uncontrollable phenomenon but actually there are treatments for panic attacks. I decided to compile them all here in a cute little list of my 10 favorite panic attack treatments:

Breathing – If you have an overactive mind constantly distracted by worry and negative thoughts, these thoughts they may eventually manifest themselves as a panic attack. But as Dr. Andrew Weil says “At our core all we are are breathing humans”. Isn’t that a comforting thought? Your kids, your marriage, your debt all those things don’t matter unless you can breathe. Look for some great breathing exercises online Dr. Weil’s is particularly good.

Drugs – Yes, I used the ‘D’ word. Many people don’t realize that all drugs are actually that…drugs. However, when administered by a medical professional and not abused can decrease your mind’s predispostion to irrational thinking.

Cardio – If you are healthy enough to do cardiovascular activities such as walking or running these will help increase your levels of concentration throughout the day and will help you feel in control of environment and not at its mercy and powerless like you do with a panic attack.

Booze – For me my panic disorder extended to another neurological condition which is similar to Parkinson’s Disease (without the fatality rate). As a social phobic, alcohol would calm my nerves and I would tend to over-drink just to settle my nerves. This is a viscous cycle. While ‘booze’ may help you in the short term, it will actually increase your anxiety in the long term.

Perspective – You may not be able to change your perspective on your own but suffering from anxiety and depression seems to put on this old album that replays in your head over and over until it becomes your mantra. “Your No Good.” In different variations for different people of course, but it all sounds the same ultimately. Changing your perspecitve involves changing your own perception of yourself. We all have some good qaulities that are often covered by our desire to perfect the things we see that we love in others. The truth is that they are looking back at you thinking the same thing.

You will most likely end up using a combination of all of the above treatments on a daily basis to help you fight this disorder. There are many panic attack treatments out there that you can explore more in-depth on my blog. Are there any other panic attack treatments that perhaps I missed or have worked for you? I’d welcome any comments below.

Many of us here on this blog people suffer with social anxiety disorder and to a greater degree, social phobia. As defined in medicine, a phobia is an irrational fear. People with social phobia are scared of most or all social situations. A person with social anxiety disorder is more acutely self-aware of themselves and the “mistakes” they are making in social setting. The disorder causes an unbearable or an uncomfortable sense of embarrassment for actions that would seem to be small nothings to a person not affected by the disorder. A stuttered word or a pen falling off a lectern as the speaker reads aloud to an audience creates high levels of fear in the sufferer.

Unbearable Fear

The overall fear of being judged or criticized are so unbearable that often physical symptoms manifest themselves to help our bodies cope with the additional stress of the social situation. Sweating, trembling or nausea are common ways our body will deal with the way the sufferer is feeling creating a fight-or-flight response that is not congruent with the actual happenings of the situation. The ultimate fear at the core of the social phobic is the fear of humiliation in front of others. Unfortunately for the sufferer, this often results in the person withdrawing socially.

Social Withdrawal

When a socially phobic individual begins to withdraw socially they are perpetuating and enabling the disorder to get the best of them. In fact it is not their fault because the sufferer is just doing what the body is conditioned to do in a situation of overwhelming fear: run. When you are being attacked by a bear or are in a life threatening situation you are conditioned to run or fight but for the social anxiety disorder sufferer this phobia impedes their social relationships and ability to live everyday life.

The Familiar, The Unfamiliar

Social phobia is also classified by adressing the unfamiliar. In a clinical sense this is know as cognitive behavioral therapy. We have all experienced anxiety or nervousness when we are on a first date or going for a first job. We feel as if we are being judged and it is right to feel that way – because we are! An socially phobic person may only be willing to interact with their close family or friends that they have know for years. This may be the only place the person feels at ease and relieved from their anxiety symptoms. The result is a smaller network of people to get to know and increased preassure or neediness from friends. This can also strain relationships for the sufferer.

Addressing The Problem

Everyone experiences anxiety – it is an important part of our makeup as humans. We are conditioned to experience anxiety. But when that anxiety becomes unbearable and is then defined as social anxiety disorder and we are forced to live out lives in fear of other people or social situations entirely, the time to seek help is now. Happiness often involves quality relationships with the people around us and people we haven’t yet met. But is it all reliable? We take a look here below in our Panic Away Review.

Sometimes late at night and your heart is top to a new sweating and can’t sleep and maybe or even shaking. A call to your psychiatrist at this time of the night may not be an option. Or maybe you have considered or tried medications to experience temporary or little relief. At this point you may be considering learning more about this common disorder and learning of the success stories of others who have used informational products and the inspiration of others to successfully stopped their panic attacks.

The best-selling products on the Internet related to panic attacks is called panic away. Panic away has now been on the market for over seven years. Considering the Internet has only been a mass commercial market for around 12 years this makes it a pretty reliable product.

I became familiar with Clickbank.com a few years ago when I purchased my first panic disorder CD set. I decided that I knew what I was suffering from at that point, and it was best to take some action and take it now. At the time there were only 2 main products being sold online for what I had. I wanted it gone so badly, I just bought both. First I bought the Linden Method and then I bought Panic-Away. So for my readers I wrote this Panic Away Review to talk about what I feel are the goods and the bads of each of the products hoping this will help you to make a more educated decision when purchasing the right product for you.

A therapist, psychiatrist or other medical professional may tell you that you are suffering from anxiety. Too much anxiety can lead to panic or panic attacks. What are these people not telling you? They are not telling you that your anxiety is not the root of the problem. To solve problems deeper we must look for deeper meaning within ourselves. This means finding the root of the problem. Anxiety is caused by stress and stress is caused by fear.

What The Doctors Know

I’ve personally read and researched a seemingly infinite amount of books on the topic and they are all written by medical professionals. I started at that point in my research because of my family history. I knew that my family had suffered previously from disorders such as anxiety and panic so I began where many in America begin, at the doctor’s office. You know something is wrong, you can explain the symptoms and a doctor can make a diagnosis. But this means that you have already surpassed the intial stages at a previous point in your life. The cycle looks something like this to me.

As I’ve said many times before on this blog I am not a doctor or medical professional nor am I a coach or holositic healer or anything like that. This is simply my story and discoveries based on years of personal research and suffering. If you are having panic attacks and suffering from depression you are in the last stages of poor mental health and you should seek a docotor’s treatment immediately. You may need to consider the possibility of medication for a short period of time to help you. Medication shouldn’t in every circumstance be seen as the be-all-end all of your treatment. Uncovering what is truly causing your stress will help but you can’t end there.

The word ‘fear’ doesn’t sell books and it doesn’t sell pills in our modern world of profit. The profit is in the treatment of your disorder and most medications that you will take will be controlled substances meaning they have an addictive quality to them. If you admit that you are scared others may think you are weak. That’s why there are very few people talking about ‘fear’. Fear is a human reaction to situations in which it feels uncomfortable and is the source of all anxiety and panic.

So the next time you are feeling like you need to stop your anxiety and your panic attacks try and look through Google for books and other products related to fear. That is where therapy begins and ends. With fear. When your stresses are eliminated by truly being honest with yourself about what you are scared of much of the symptoms your body is manifesting with panic will disappear. My tip for the day is to Google “Stress” and “Fear” rather than “Anxiety” or “Panic Attacks”.

Want to know what a panic attack feels like? Trust me you don’t. I’ve heard people attribute it to a heart attack. Personally my experiences dealt more with shortness of breath. I was on heart medication called beta-blockers which perhaps prevented my heart rate from rising too rapidly but the feeling is immense, uncomfortable and you just want it gone. If are looking for symptoms of panic attacks they most traditionally include:

Chest Pain – The most common symptom of people suffering from panic attack is chest pain. Many elderly including my grandfather that I have mentioned on this blog earlier get and intense amount of chest pain while having a panic attack. This seems to be caused by a reaction in the brain that causes the heart to pump blood faster despite not having any reason to do so. It’s estimated that about 1/4th of visits to the ER regarding chest pain are anxiety related.

Heart Palpitations – An irregular or fast heartbeat is what you should feel when you are being chased by a lion. Not when you are standing in line at McDonald’s. That doesn’t mean though that your condition is not serious. Heart palpitations are often a symptom of panic attacks.

Upset Stomach – Many people have digestive reactions related to stress and anxiety. Anxiety is the problem, a panic attack is the result but stress is usually the cause. When stress is poorly managed it results is digestive issues that may be related to an upset stomach. An upset stomach is a symptom of a panic attack but not always needed.

Difficulty Breathing - If you are having a hard time breathing and feel as if you asre gasping for air this is certainly a sure syptom of a panic attack. This for me personally was one of the most major and scariest feelings you could have because losing air makes you feel like you are dying and that is real fear.

These are the 4 major symptoms that I have personally seen in panic attacks. Others include but are not limited to terror, unexplained or irrational fears of death, hot flashes in women or chills, dizzy spells and immediate need to escape. All of these are symptoms of panic attacks and if you are having them now you need to visit a doctor. It is okay to call 911 if you feel like you are having or a loved one is suffering from a panic attack.
